So I have been thinking of a lot of things I want to talk about lately....
Just in time for our internet to stop working, ha!
Yes, this entire week we have been without internet. And well, although it is just a phone call away to have it mended, my man has been under the weather and getting connected to the world hasn't been the greatest priority. So, hopefully soon....
So, here's the run down this past week:
Henry cut his pinky toe pretty bad on Thursday and refuses to wear shoes.
Jonas had RSV and was a wheezing machine but is doing 100% better thanks to God giving us modern medicine.
Georgia is gone all day at school and I hate it. I am struggling to adjust to this new adventure for her and feel incredibly disconnected to her. I am praying lots and waiting and watching for how the Father leads in this.
Jeff has been sick all week and spent Thursday-Today in bed (mostly) I cannot imagine what being a single parent is like and am grateful that he will soon join me in raising our children because I am pretty sure I would screw them up pretty bad without him.
We are getting to know the students here more and more each week and are really loving it.
Today we were "pounded" by the church and it was fabulous. What is pounding you might ask.... well, they bought us a lot of groceries, presents for Kate, and took a love offering.
We were overwhelmed and completely humbled. Which leads me to my next point:
The people here in this town have quickly invaded my heart and have set up shop. I love them dearly and each time we get to be with them we are encouraged and reminded of how deep the father's love is for us in giving us them!
Life is busy, the work here is immense, and I have looked forward to waking up for the third week in a row - amazing!
It feels so good to do what our hearts long to do.
AND....... for the cream!
The updated I-171h form that we needed to get for Kate (homestudy update) was processed in less than a week even with a slight mailing hiccup! AMAZING! We hope to hear this week what our next step is. Last week they only wanted the phone number for the police officer who found her - they received that number just after the request was made. We are hoping they clear us for travel this week but we will see. It's tricky remember!
cheers and have a great week!

Psa. 37
Trust in the LORD, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him, and he will act.
6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,
and your justice as the noonday.
7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way,
over the man who carries out evil devices!
8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath!
Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.
9 For the evildoers shall be cut off,
but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land.
10 In just a little while, the wicked will be no more;
though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there.
11 But the meek shall inherit the land
and delight themselves in abundant peace.
