Texas

Life in Texas.

Is busy (in a way different way than L.A or Louisville)
Is full
Is exciting
Is growing my family in some seriously good ways.
Is deepening my faith

Is reminding me that I worship a God who listens and hears the cries of our heart and answers us.

With that said, I am overjoyed to be here and have been so humbled by God's plan for us here. The fields are large and the seeds are in our hands. We are seeking the father and leaning on his word as to how to go about planting..... The work here is more like a marathon - not a sprint.

In fact, sprinting isn't really done here :) Ha! Just today we got a note in our mailbox (which is attached to the house) telling us we needed a mailbox near the street ( 33 feet away) and that until we get one, they were going to hold our mail at the post office. The note was dated for yesterday yet they've been keeping our mail at the post office for the last ten days and haven't come to pick up the mail that has been sitting there for the last three days....

HA!

So, Jeff installed his first mail box straight away! He placed the post so far down into the ground that no bat could ever knock that thing down!!! (but, if you are one of our youth kids don't be tempted to try - Jeff is the King of comebacks!)

A new town.
A new church.
A new job.
A new schedule.
A new school.
New Friends.
A new baby soon.

The same God who showers us with his steadfast love and lights our way with his beautiful word.

****

We are truly delighting in him.
